Carli is no longer our little sinner!

A special day arrived this weekend. The day was our daughter Cali's Baptism. She was born into a sinful world and now she has been resurrected and is a new member of the church. My hope for our little one, well both our little girls is that over the years they learn about and love God. I hope they see a light shining from us and that they pray to the rosary often. My hope is that as me and my husband grow stronger in our church, our children see that as an example that leads into their lives as parents.

I will admit that as of right now in our life we would be considered non-practicing Catholics and of this I am ashamed. This will be changing as our priorities are changing as well.

We did a joint baptism with her cousin who is just 3 days younger than her. One side of the church was filled with both our sides of the family. Having so many family and friends near by made it an unforgettable event.

I spend the whole weekend making the decor for the after party and making the dress for little Carli. I'm excited that the design in my head worked out. The party afterward was a success and hanging out with friends and family was fun. Once we finally got home, we broke out a bottle of whine, put the kids to bed and relaxed with our bestfriend, Paul (also our Bestman). I hope you enjoy the pictures, as it was a beautiful day, an event we will never forget.

My daughter is no longer a sinner! If you like the baptism dress, I make many and design many. I am thinking of selling some in my etsy shop. Would you buy, if I added some to my shop?

  1. It was a success! Excited all our babies are Catholic now. Now we need to start going to church and putting the rowdy girls in the nursery :-0)

    1. Yes lets! Brian and I are going to be taking turns going on Sundays. I'll go one service, and he'll go the next. What time do you usually go?
