One morning in the future, a love letter

I was reading some old poetry of mine from when I first met my husband Brian. The words feel like a love letter now. Sharing it seemed too compelling to me.


One morning in the future,
Will I find you sleeping
Next to me
Will I be able to kiss your eyelids
And hear the beating of your heart
Thump
Thump
Will I find the breathe of your morning
Smelling the sweetest scent
Could I sink into your skin
Before you wake
In the future will I find us loving eachother
Will I wake one morning
And find you sleeping next to me

    I love it! :) I used to write love letters to my husband when we were dating & came across them a few weeks ago. It's like a time travel trip reading them!

      How cool is that. It really was just magical! Definitely agree with the time travel feeling! That is so what it feels like!

    I love it! :) I used to write love letters to my hubs when we were dating. I found them a month or two ago and it was so interesting to read them all over again!
